  • Managed the Procurement Transformation Program that consisted of 14 projects including business process redesign of Purchasing and Payment processes as well as implementation of several Oracle eBusiness suites (iExpense, eBizTax, Buyers Workbench, Req-to PO Optimization, Supplier Contracts, Strategic Sourcing, etc.)

Outcomes

  • Implementation of Oracle iExpenseTravel Reimbursement system that eliminated holds and reduced the processing time by 50% with a 90% customer satisfaction.

  • Implementation of “lights out” purchasing solution design resulting in 93% of Purchase Orders transmitting with ONE day SLA and reducing the purchasing staff 30%.

  • Reduction of “days to pay” and “holds” by 50% while processing 66% of the invoices electronically.

Task

  • Took over one of the University of California’s largest systemwide process redesign project
    where we architected the standardization of Human Resources, Benefits and Payroll processes
    prior to implementing the Oracle-PeopleSoft HRMS applications including Interaction Hub to
    improve efficiency, effectiveness and reduce overall cost. This project included the design of a
    Shared Services operation. Our project scope didn’t include the system implementation.

Outcomes

  • Standardization of processes of 17 campuses and 5 academic health centers (220,000
    employees) enabled UC to implement a common ERP system replacing 32 disparate systems.

  • Business Process Optimization & ERP Upgrade

Task

  • Managed the upgrade of HR, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting and Time & Labor applications of 3 University of Missouri Campuses that operated in multiple instancesof PeopleSoft system. 

Outcomes

  • Successfully standardized the Human Resources processes among 3 campuses and upgraded PeopleSoft applications with a single instance that enabled efficiency and reduction of overall maintenance of systems.  Architected and implemented a Shared Services that provided technical & functional support for the University System.

Task

Managed a program that involved multiple projects focused on process optimization and implementation of ERP systems that include:

  • oItem Master cleansing & interfaces to Cerner / SurgiNetsystem / CDM
  • oGHX Integration (MetaTrade, EDI 850 & 855)
  • oSciQuestimplementation (Catalogs, DirectConnect& Punch Out)

  • Brought the supply chain under University system that enabled the implementation of strategic sourcing for the University System.

  • Managed a 9 Hospital Business Transformation program and re-engineered the Finance and Supply Chain business processes while implementing the best practices of PeopleSoft financials and supply chain applications.Managed the implementation of Omnicell interfaces, HighJump hand-heldsand RightFax autofaxsolutions.

Outcomes

  • Single ERP system that automated the Finance & Supply Chain operations that improved the efficiency, productivity and customer service.  This enterprise system and standardized processes helped Fairview to grow & expand without adding additional labor force.

Task

  • Took over a struggling Data Warehouse project and implemented complete custom Data Warehouse with full functionality for Extract-Transform-Load from multiple ERP source systems.

  • Developed several data visualization dashboards, and pivot cubes facilitating deep analysis of data.

  • Improved the visibility of data that enabled SG to quickly understand the profitability of products and services.
